Inside one of the large metal domes at the observatory housing the huge old telescopes that used to be part of the Royal Greenwich Observatory.

We sat and watched as they opened the roof and moved it round to position the telescope correctly, it was quite amazing and surprisingly speedy. Unfortunately this demonstration was in the daytime, it would be great to go back after dark to actually see the stars!
