Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Reflections and Shadows

reflections-2

For Cee’s black and white photo challenge, the reflection of a coffee house next to a boating lake in a local park.

This is the black and white version of a photo I entered into a local competition, “Bradford Pride of Place” organised by the same people whose exhibition I wrote about in a previous post. They took over a smaller gallery space in Bradford and over the space of a month it was filled with memories and images shared by people living in the area. The finalists of the competition had their pictures displayed in the gallery and the winners were announced on the opening night. Neither of my pictures won anything, but it was a big thrill to have them chosen in the final few and for them to be displayed in the gallery.

Here are my competition entries and them on the gallery wall. (It looks a bit empty as it had only just opened!)
