Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Vehicle Details

This week Cee has asked us for images of vehicle details, I thought these would be appropriate. They were taken at the Yorkshire Rover Club car rally at this years festival in Saltaire. The cars on display were very elegant and the shiny chrome and paintwork created such great reflections. One of the owners was kind enough to let me photograph inside his gorgeous maroon and cream Rover. These cars have such amazing details, I think they all represent a different way of life, slower, more sedate, more elegant.

For more images of parts of vehicles, see Cee’s fun foto challenge.

    1. They were really cool cars, their owners clearly looked after them very well. They had been polished till you could see your face in them, in fact it was hard finding some photos without me reflected in it!

    1. Thank you so much Cee. I really enjoyed taking these photos. The love that the car owners have for their old Rovers truly shines through. I know what you mean about the seat belt buckles, I’m not sure if its the flawless finish, the shape or that they seem like they should be in an old James Bond film! 🙂
