Weekly Photo Challenge: Refraction

Refraction: the change in direction of a propagating wave, such as light or sound, in passing from one medium to another in which it has a different velocity (Collins English Dictionary)

This beach in South Wales was incredibly windy, judging by all the surfers and kite fliers, it was like that all the time. The constant wind helped shape the beautiful patterns created by the sunlight refracting through the ripples of crystal clear seawater.

also love the threes – the main 3 rocks and then the back 3 to the upper left – 🙂
