Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Crooked and Squiggly Lines

Many a crooked line can be found on a tree. Squiggly tree-rings through the stump giving away the tree’s age and the twisted, winding remnants of old creepers crawling up the old tree.

See here for more crooked and squiggly lines.

  1. Excellent Katie, nice set of intriguing photos. I enjoy figuring out hidden shapes and/or messages within all those kind of crooked and squiggly lines. I’ll leave you my interpretation, of some of them, as a comment in each photo. Will you be able to see what I see?

    1. Thanks Jaime, the twisted vines on the outside of the tree were very odd looking and did look to me almost like a crowd of people reaching up or climbing over each other. It had the feel of a scene from a Hieronymus Bosch painting. Thanks for your comments, very imaginative!

  2. so nice – and I love the 3 on the bottom and 2 on top – also, thanks for saying what they are so when you hove the photo it tells us – like esp. w the catkins – and love the B & W too
